Samsø Energy Academy takes part in the start-up conference for a Nordic project – Implement. The Project is about developing and using biogas, so that new jobs and growth are created across the three Scandinavian countries, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. All three countries are working with biogas and have experiences on various areas which can be usefully shared with others.
From Denmark participates the municipals from Skive, Lemvig and Samsø, and Samsø Energy Academy – from West Sweden and Norway participates 27 municipalities. The project is funded by EU and the Region of Central Denmark’s Forum of Growth with a total budget of 16 million kr.
An important feature in the project is citizen involvement and sharing of knowledge. Samsø Energy Academy is very experienced in involving citizens in the processes, and that is very interesting for the other partners in the project. The Energy Academy’s role in the project is to gather the experiences about implementing biogas in a digital knowledge manual.
