Samso municipality’s solar-plan has been launched with the new solar installations on the sports hall. It is the idea that the installations shall be op and running in this week, so the sports hall can be self-supplied with electricity.
The installation covers an area of 440 m2 and is dimensioned to produce 50.00 kWh per year. It almost covers the halls use of elecetricity, and the remaining part of the use will be covered by different power-savings measures.
There were 23 bidders on the job, and it was Solarelement from Kolding in Jutland that won the bidding.
The Municipality have two other installations in mind. One is a sun tribune between the municipality’s parking lot and TIF (Tranebjerg sports association)’s football field. The idea is that the municipality gets a covered parking space while TIF gets a tribune. The idea of a covered parking space is also considered for the schools parking lot.
Bo Haagen Salsø from the municipality, who is a technical designer, has been responsible for the tender documents and the design of the installations.
