Future in the hands (and minds) of the youth

DSCN1556

On Tuesday 21 August, 60 students from a high school in north Zealand visited the Samsø Energy Academy. The tour included a visit to the Rapeseed oil tractor, solar thermal and biomass plant, wind turbines and a tour of the energy academy.

The story of energy on Samsø has inspired the young students to think more deeply about energy. What will the future hold for these young people? Or maybe a better question is – what future will these young people make? Surely the seed of sustainability has been planted from their visit to Samsø Energy Academy. This can be seen by the messages left at the academy.

We look forward to many more visits from people of all ages!
