At this moment islands inhibitors from Papa New Guinea, Scotland, Samsø and other island communities, who are either facing or are about to face the challenge of moving towards a sustainable way of living, are meeting each other on the Danish island of Bornholm.

They arrived Monday for the conference Ecoisland Global Summit, which will end on Wednesday, and the summit is meant to give the attendants a change to trade ideas and experiences concerning green sustainability.
The Energy Academy is naturally also represented at the conference with a keynote speech by Malene Lundén.
The summit was born last year on the British Isle og Wight, who like Bornholm is striving to copy the success of Samsø and be 100 percent sustainable.
About 130 people are attending the summit, and today Tuesday the attendants will be able to listen to various speakers, before they will go to different workshops on Wednesday.
