The Energy Academy encourages Community Power in Japan

The Energy Academy cooperates with partners all over the world, at director Søren Hermansen has collaborated with the ISEP (Institute for Sustainable Energy Policy) and Proff. Iida Tetsunari in Japan on numerous occasions.

Once again Hermansen is invited to speak in Japan, this time at a conference in Fukushima on community based renewable energy projects.

The collaboration is concentrated around Community Power – building on the aftermath of the nuclear disaster i Fukushima, the organizers aims to let the local population have their voices heard and involve the community in the decentralized energy supply of the Future.
